    Restart your Computer:

     Run the QuickBooks as a Windows Administrator:

     To run the QuickBook as a Windows Administrator please follow the steps below. In the search button on your windows desktop search for “QuickBooks” application.

    Before running the application be sure that the QuickBooks application is not running in the background.

    After that choose the QuickBooks and right click on that application

    Once you right click on the app you will see many options

    In that choose the first option- “Run as Administrator”

    Then it asks for confirmation to make the changes in the app, Click “yes” to make necessary changes to the application.

    Follow the steps to make sure that  Use TLS 1.0 is checked, and Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 are unchecked in the Internet Options. You need to check that in the Internet Options on your Windows Explorer.

     

    • Be sure to close the QuickBooks application running in the background.
    • As a next step open Internet Explorer in your Desktop.
    • Click on the button “Tools” and look for the “Internet Options”.
    • After clicking on the internet Options choose “Advanced Options” as a next step..
    • In the search option search for Use TLS 1.0, Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 options.
    • Once you find Use TLS 1.0 make sure that it is checked
    • Afterwards, please be sure about Unchecking Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2.
    • Once unchecking is done click on “ok” button to proceed.
    • In the next step close Internet Explorer.
    • Proceed forward by Rebooting your computer.
    • When restarting is done try to reopen QuickBooks Desktop.
    • After that, Try to download the QuickBooks app and update again.
